Logging in is optional. However if you skip the login you will only have one hour of access time (per day) available to you and your download capability will be limited.

If you choose to create a user name and password your access privileges will be upgraded significantly as well as your download capability enhanced.

Also please note that bandwidth shaping is in effect such that users who are not logged in have less bandwidth per minute rights than logged in users. If your download times seem slow you may want to consider creating a login. No personal information is collected. The login information helps us track general network usage so that we may fine tune our service to better meet the needs of you, our customers.
